ABOUT EBONY S. COX

When a camera was placed into my hands, I knew this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Though my journey with photography has had some twists and turns, the path of photography has remained  the same. At the age of 8, I was diagnosed with strabismus, a disorder that prevented both eyes from focusing in on an object, resulting in me being cross-eyed.

After overcoming this disorder, the eyes that once caused me so much frustration have become my greatest asset. I furthered my education at Western Kentucky University where I majored in photojournalism. Here is where I learned to craft and tell stories visually (photography and videography). For the past 5 years, I worked for USA Today Network-Wisconsin where I put everything I learned into action. This job allowed me to tell the stories of all sorts of things from emotional vigils to vibrant food features, pro sports to politics. I told the stories of people at their lowest  and at their highest. I learned how to ask the right questions, I learned to listen and I learned to see people. Everyone has a story worth sharing—it's an honor to tell it.

Whether it’s the story your headshot conveys, the passion behind a signature dish or the story of your business and brand; each story holds meaning.

As we step into 2025, my main focus is creating authentic headshots that highlight, telling your unique story + helping businesses and brands including restaurants create eye-catching, unique images that reflect their story, attract the right customers and enhance their presence on social media, websites and ads.

Exuding customer confidence and highlighting others is at the heart of what I do. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my journey. I look forward to working with you and bringing your story to life!
